We aim to increase the availability of quality credits in the carbon markets by creating new knowledge through comprehensive, inclusive, and constructive peer-reviewed research and by acting as a bridge between academics and practitioners.
Comprehensive
Accounting for sources of over- and under-crediting through complete and balanced methods.
Inclusive
Incorporating interviews with registries, developers, and verifiers as inputs to research design.
Constructive
Aimed at creating tools for using and creating high-quality credits while avoiding the use and perpetuation of low-quality credits.
01
Our network of academics is passionate about producing peer-reviewed research on carbon credit quality.
02
Our work provides the market with the tools it needs to understand and improve carbon credit quality.
03
We venture beyond the ivory tower to engage with rating agencies, registries, and project developers to ensure our research is grounded in reality and informs real-world action.
WHO WE ARE
Our team brings together established academics from a range of disciplines to address some of the most challenging questions facing the carbon markets.
